The Schola has a busy Summer Term ahead with a number of performances in London and beyond.
On Thursday 26 April the Schola sings Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 at St James's, Spanish Place in Marylebone. For this performance the choir is joined by His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts and tenors Nicholas Mulroy and Peter Davoren. Tickets are available HERE.
The Schola will sing the Monteverdi Vespers for a second time, again with His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts and Nicholas Mulroy and Peter Davoren, on Saturday 30 June in Arundel Cathedral. Tickets for this performance are available HERE.
In addition, the Schola will sing a recital of English choral music at St Martin in the Fields on Trafalgar Square at 1 pm on Monday 4 June. The following Monday, 11 June, the Schola sings for the Choral Eucharist at St Paul's Cathedral, celebrating the Feast of St Barnabas.
On Saturday 16 June the trebles of the Schola join forces with the Arcubus Ensemble for a concert entitled Music of the soul's journey at St John's, Smith Square. The boys will sing a work by Russell Hepplewhite entitled Paradise: In A Dream as well as folk songs arranged by Benjamin Britten.
At the end of July, the Schola will be joining with the Gabrieli Orchestra and Choir for a major recording project and concert in Ely Cathedral.
